We will be having a fellowship & meet-up next week!
The time & venue will be confirmed again! =)

Meanwhile, let's all continue listening to the song over and over again to really get the feel of it, and practise with our own individual instruments over and over again to get the hang of it!

The first jamming session where we all come together to jam to the song will be two weeks from now!

When we are dreaming alone it is only dream. When we are dreaming with others, it is the beginning of reality.

This may sound odd but reality is beginning to set in for me regarding the band. Don't worry I don't mean it in a bad way.

Rather, I feel that the band is really starting to form up, like a once dissipated mash of fog that now looks more and more like a well-shaped cloud in the sky. It is really happening! AND WE CAN DO IT!

I felt the tangibility of it like a cut you get while trudging through a dense forest, you don't feel it until you see it. As I look at us more and more I think we can really do this. It will be a journey that takes years but a fun journey it will be.

Just sharing some of my inner thoughts. Can't wait to jam again!

Dear Sembrists,

It has come to our attention that... We got a new Place!! Fuuuuuu......

Haha, i believe that as our Church progresses, so shall we!
This place has the size of 6 times of a normal jamming studio and has quite new equipments and sounds that travel in the room is toooo nice. Its definitely going to help put us up into another level. =)

Lets keep Practicing and Never Give up what we have achieved so far..

Lots of good news today!
God's smiling on our band! =D

Found a really good place to jam to. I would say it's about 80% equipped for jamming. Thanks to Jasper! =D And it's free! haha! Thanks to his friend Chris!

Bob's guitar teacher said if we do not mind, he would be able to help supervise our band during our jamming sessions! Thanks to Bob! haha!

Wow indeed God is shining is favorable light upon us.

Today me, kennn and Jasper met this girl named Chris who showed us this awesome place where we can use for our band jamming sessions..FOR FREE!

After scouting the place, I feel that it can really work out. There is a full drum set there, 2 good mics, an awesome keyboard, 3 mind-blasting amps and just so much space to work with. The place is fully air-conditioned and it is located near Elias mall at pasir-ris which is not that far. It is rather cosy too!

Thank you Jasper for contributing so much into the band. We would not have known this place without you dude. Keep practicing your drums we know you can do it!

Guys we are moving full-speed ahead towards 2011 June emerge talent-time competition so its practice practice practice from now on. Now that we have a place where we can spend time jamming without worry about money, I feel like nothing can stop us now. We will not stand for second-rate performance so the only way is practice and more practice.

Edited: For the Saturday jamming videos, I will post them after we view them together on friday's band meeting. I feel it will refresh our memories & it's better to view them live & in high quality!

(As the majority of us have other commitments during most days of the week, there will tentatively be a BM this friday, late at night. We have really busy members. haha. =P)

Thank God for giving us the opportunity to form this band. For opening this door for us.

Our walk from here on will be one filled with tribulations, trials, challenges and obstacles. It will not be easy. All journeys never are. But let's never forget this:

I'm sure u guys have received the sms by dan!
This sat, 13th March is going to be our first jamming session!

Here's the list of songs we have decided to jam to:
1) Two is Better than One- Boys like Girls (feat Taylor Swift)
2) Vanilla Twilight- Owl City
and lastly, we will practise the song we'll never forget!
3) Sleeping with the Lights On- Busted

We'll be jamming at a studio in Tampines & it should take place at night (prolly around 6.30 onwards).
The timing will be confirmed again. =)
